Princess in training....

Just a another evening at the Lester home. Rachel comes home and instantly changes into something more ...dramatic. Last night it was a ballerina in full make-up.

This is a picture of Scott's sister and their beautiful new daughter, Ella Lynn Johnson. Ella was born in December but she's quickly catching up to Annabelle in size and I'm guessing she be bigger than Annie in just a few short months!

Rachel's First Dental Visit

Today was Rachel's first visit to the dentist and I'm happy to say, we ALL survived! I've been talking to her about going to the denist for a few weeks and she was actually really excited about going. She sat right in the chair and about 5 min later she made Cindy, the hygentist, her new best friend. They counted her teeth, cleaned and polished them. Then Dr. Collins came in and looked them over and NO cavities...hooray!!! Needless to say Rachel's already excited about her next cleaning in 6 months.

Mother Nature Hates Us

It finally stopped snowing a few hours ago and we have an additional 4-6 inches on the ground. I can hear my Cousin Sarah, in San Diego, laughing already.

6 Months Old!

Oh yeh, I'm 6 months old today! I am such a big girl! I can blow bubbles, hold my own bottle, put my feet in my mouth, throw toys on the floor...the list goes on and on! Mom said soon enough I'll be crawling all over and getting into everything. I can't wait!

Kindergarten Registation

Last night Rachel had registration for kindergarten at Madison Elementary. She really enjoyed touring the school and meeting other little girls her age. They had a chance to spend time in the classroom with the teachers and NO parents. The school is very small, only 300 students from K to 5th grade...which we love. It's also very close to our house...which we really love! Of course we had to explain to Rachel that this is just a PREVIEW of school! I'm pretty sure if we told her she had to start today, she'd be ready!

Butterfly Kisses - Daddy/Daughter Dance

Today was THE day! Rachel has been patiently waiting a whole month to wear her special dress and get her hair done! My friend Shelly came over and put Rachel's hair up and it looked SO cute! We took a few pictures while getting ready and then took all the girls and dads to Kliks for studio photos. I'll post those as soon as I get them. Of course Rachel was totally in her element during pictures. Fancy dress, lights, cameras and a small audience! These pictures are of Rachel and Shelly's daughter, Kylie.

Baby needs new shoes...and got some!

I've been trying to find shoes for Annabelle's feet since she was, well, born. She doesn't like to have socks on and her feet are always freezing. I finally found an inexpensive pair of slippers with velcro on them. She's had these on for ONE hour, a new record!!!

Snow, snow and MORE snow!

We are still recoving from the 13" of snow that mother nature dumped on us a few days ago. I included a few of the pictures I took after the snow finally finished. The weather forecasts calls for MORE snow so thankfully we plan on spending a lot of time at home this weekend!
